CENTRAL ASIAN WINE UNIVERSITY
Great Steppe Sommelier Cup
The Great Steppe Sommelier Competition is an annual series of professional wine events created to unite the countries of Central Asia through wine, promote the development of the region’s wine culture, and increase its recognition worldwide.

Each event in the series represents a separate stage. The stages are held in Tashkent, Baku, Ulaanbaatar, Bishkek, and Astana. Each stage consists of a short educational course, the sommelier competition itself, a wine salon, and various additional activities.
The Great Steppe Sommelier Cup stage in Ulaanbaatar will take place on May 8.
